FACILITIES
Camp Green Lane is a beautiful facility that is home to 400 children aged 6 to 17 for five weeks during the summer.  However, for one week a year the fields, buildings and cabins go to the dogs.  There are 7 playing fields which we will use for agility, obedience, rally, tracking, lure coursing, flyball and Frisbee.  One field will be set aside for you if you just want to take time out and walk or play ball with your dog.  All activities except herding will take place at the camp site.

There are several indoor facilities which can be used in case of rain so bad weather won’t slow us down.  Freestyle will be held in “The Globe” which has a state-of-the-art sound system.  The Globe will also be used for our camp show on Friday night where everyone will be able to show off the new skills they have learned during camp.

Sleeping accommodations are in dorm style cabins.  Each cabin will sleep 4 to 5 people and there are two bathrooms with showers per cabin.  Dogs must be in metal crates whenever they are left alone in the cabin.  Cabins do not have refrigerators but refrigerators and freezers are available for campers’ use in the dining hall.  The dining hall is located near the cabins for easy accessibility and refrigerators are available 24 hours a day.[back to top]

The dining hall features food by our certified head chef who teaches culinary arts during the winter at The Art Institute of Philadelphia.  The food is great.  Salad bar is available at every lunch and dinner and vegetarian meals are available upon request.  Campers are welcome to bring wine for their dinner.  However, due to the large number of meals to be prepared, special diet requests can not be honored.[back to top] dinning

Camp Green Lane is a non-driving campus.  When you arrive at camp, you will unload your gear at the cabin and move your car to a designated parking site. Cars are parked nearby and are easily accessible.  This will make walking through camp a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.[back to top]
