Agility
For most dogs, agility is just doing what comes naturally and it’s great fun. Our outstanding instructors will teach your dog to maneuver tunnels, dogwalks, and seesaws. Then, they will help you to keep up with your dog and give them the proper cues to successfully complete the course. Teamwork is the name of this game. Classes will be offered for beginners through excellent level with special classes for teacup dogs and introduction to agility for puppies. |

From novice through utility and puppy classes too, you and your dog will learn the tricks to success from sit to scent discrimination through positive motivation and balanced training.

Rally
Rally is a great way to introduce your dog to obedience exercises in a relaxed environment. In Rally, the dog and handler team perform the exercises posted on signs throughout the course. There is more variety in the exercises to keep your dog interested and you can praise and motivate your dog while performing the exercise.[back to top]

Freestyle
Have you ever tried dancing with your dog? In freestyle, you will learn the types of music your dog enjoys, lots of “moves” for you and your dog and how to choreograph movements to the music of your choice. On Friday night, you get to “strut your stuff” as dog and handler teams dance for our campers.[back to top]

Frisbee

Flyball
Flyball is an exciting team sport with 4 dogs on a team. Each dog jumps 4 jumps, steps on the flyball box to release the tennis ball and runs back over the jumps to “tag” his team member. Dogs will be taught how to step on the box to release the ball and then execute the jumps. Everyone in camp knows when flyball is being run. The dogs are so excited that there is plenty of barking going on.[back to top]

Tracking
Tracking is a natural ability for all dogs. Our tracking instructor will help you to get your dog “on the right track” or if your dog is experienced, fine tune his ability to track over difficult terrain.

Lure Coursing
Lure coursing is a favorite activity at camp. Dogs love to chase the “rabbit” which is really only a plastic bag (but don’t tell them). Yorkshire terriers and Chinese Crested to German Shepherds will join right in on the first try. Some, like the German Shepherd, seem to realize it’s just a game with a plastic bag but some will actually treat that plastic bag like it is alive. If you have never seen your dog lure course, you are in for an exciting experience.[back to top]

Swimming
Our lake provides the opportunity for your dog to swim to its heart’s content. If your dog is interested in dock diving, our dock will be the perfect place to practice.
